Unbelievable... Is this the support approach of Dell??

Can not even get a replacement dongle and it is not covered in the warranty in any way.. So if you lose it, it is entirely your problem, and you better get a full set of keyboard and mouse with a synced dongle with it, and pay about £30.00 for it rather than about £3.00 for a little replacement dongle...

Just amazed by this to say the least......

brunoalonso,

My apologies but Dell does not have the dongle to send out as a seperate item. The dongle is part of the entire package. The warranty does not cover you losing something. You will need to look on ebay or some other site for used parts.

I just want to know what can I do to replace the dongle, dont want to get warranty. its probably still covered, but thats not the point.

Why was the other post  by Prateek K deleted?

I lost the dongle. how can I replace it?  Dell doenst have a spare to sell?

You are saying to look for one on ebay or somewere else, will it work? doesn´t have to be synced or paired to my keyboard or mouse?

This looks like it might be the same mouse with a nano-dongle for ~$10 (used). If you do some homework you should be able to get what you want. I'm not recommending any particular site for your purchase, just pointing out what you can find...

The mouse/keyboard and dongle should all have sync buttons on them so you should be able to pair everything with a new dongle. Read the setup instructions that came with your PC and keyboard for the details.

Sorry RoHe, but there is no sync button on the mouse, nor on the keyboard. And by the size of the dongle, I dont think theri is one on it either.

That Model is NOT bluetooth.  Its 2.4 Ghz wireless but it is not Bluetooth.

I purchased a bunch of keyboards & mouse combos but they did not come with the dongle. So, I purchased several mouse with dongle's.

How do I sync my new mouse & dongle with one of these keyboards. I have many keyboards and can not use them now. Thanks

Dell only sells them as sets they don't sell the dongle separately.

They aren't universal so there is no sync to foreign dongle.

I believe they're bluetooth so you would have to pair them the way other BT devices are normally paired.
