no os cd
I purchased a desktop a few years back that did not come with a os cd, just a piece of card saying if i needed it to visit support.dell.com/pcrt, this page no longer exists. i've been all round the support site but cannot find anywhere to have this cd sent to me. any help would be very much appreciated. reason for needing the cd, my hard drive has died. thank you.

As you don't live in the US, try contacting Dell's Customer Service located in your country for the discs.

Ok, Spain. should that make any difference. the disks seem to be available if you live in the states but not in any other country. so why sell the product in other countries if they are not going to give the same support.

I determined this from the links you and Shesagordie kindly posted. no i don't know this for certain that is why i wrote ...SEEM to be available..etc. If anyones leg is been pulled it's mine, i'm certainly not trying to pull anyones leg.
