no sound
My computer got turned off and the next day I had no sound, no pictures, no music, and no internet browser icon to get on to the internet. How do I get these back, mostly the sound. I realize the music and the pictures are gone. But, how does this happen? I have Windows XP..

Maybe it shut down incorrectly? If the files are deleted I don't know if you will get them back, but does the computer work like it should now? maybe your memory had a problem. if there are no icons on the screen it is a problem with the WINDOWS EXPLORER program(not the internet browser)
