power surge on the USB port. Unknown USB device needs more power than the port can supply

I just purchased a new Dell PC.  I now get this message when I turn on my speakers:

power surge on the USB port. Unknown USB device needs more power than the port can supply. I have no idea why or how to fix it. Can anyone help me?

My desktop is:  processor: Intel Core (TM)!3-6100 CPU@3.70GHz 3.70GHZ

System type: 64-bit

Desktop-OAFUTM2

the speakers are from my previous pc. I see no name on them. it plugs into the green speaker port and has another connected line that plugs into USB port.

Is there a Dell service tag number on the computer?

Test the speakers on all five of the USB ports =

two front USB 3.0 ports

four rear USB 2.0 ports

I did as you suggested and I am still getting the same message and feedback from the speakers.a total of 6 USB ports were tested.
