i inserted this processor.intel(R)core(TM)2 CPU 6600@2.40GHz 2.39GHz,the result is ok,the only problem is the alert of rear fan failure but my optiplex 745 fan running in normal except the fan of my CPU.when i push the on button the cpu fan goes on maximum speed at start up,but it will back to normal after the start up.ALERT:F1 TO CONTINUE OR F2 TO RUN A SET UP UTILITY,WHAT SHOULD I DO,what the risk of this fan problem,if i inserted my old processor all is normal

I have the same issue. I've had the updated bios 2.6.4 for a while prior to installing the new processor. I cannot find anything in the bios settings to skip on fail error. Has there been any resolution to this ???
