updating motherboard driver for Dell DXP051

I have recently upgraded my video card to an ATI  X1650Pro, which I am having loads of trouble from, I have loaded the news driver and not the ATI support team believe that I need to upload my driver for the motherboard, when I go to the Device Manager it says that there are no drivers loaded for my motherboard resources, does anyone know where to get a driver for this motherboard, or do you think the ATI support people are just passing the buck?
