upgrade inspiron 530 (ory007)

hello there :emotion-2:

I want to upgrade my 5130,I have now inside the  dual core  cpu 4400(2.0 ghz).

with a bios versie 1.0.18.

wath i whant is a new dual core,so no Q-core because it is the ory007 :emotion-40:.

I have read that almost al the dual core cpu's fit ,So my eye whas falling on the 7600(3.0 ghz).

now my question>> is the Cpu the only thing i have to buy,and just put in in and Go?

The next thing I have to do is to buy a new power supply, this one is about 300W,

and I whant to go to 500W ore more, with this one inside I can buy a better videocard.

now i hace a gforce 9400gt 512 and i whant to go to at least the gt220 1gig or better card..

Is there someone with the same configuration as i will and what kind of power supply is it then, and it also works:emotion-1: ?

(this al cost around 300euro a new pc a lot more)

Thanks in advance

With the Inspiron 530 ORY007 motherboard, you can use any of the following CPU's

Intel Celeron Processor 420 (1.6 GHz, 800 FSB)
Intel Pentium Dual-Core 2140 (1.6 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)
Intel Pentium Dual-Core 2160 (1.8 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200(2.5 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)
Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 (1.8 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)
Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 (2.0 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)
Intel Core 2 Duo E6320 (1.86 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB)
Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 (2.13 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB)
Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 (2.33 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB)
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 (2.66 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB)
Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 (2.80 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB)
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 (3.0 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB)

Regards to the power supply, with the Inspiron 530 Mini Tower, you can use most generic standard ATX power supply units, with either a 24-pin or 20+4-pin main motherboard power connector, with or without the on/off switch.

You should be able to buy a compatible power supply from either a local or online computer store.

Note: You require a power supply with four SATA power connectors.
