what tower would work
Hi everyone, newbie here :) My question: I recently purchased a refurbished Dell 780 Optiplex DT, small form pc. I would like to put in in a tower case, that way I can use a standard dvd drive, and and perhaps a better power supply (I did some research and found a wiring schematic showing how to convert a standard supply to work with these little fellers :) but not sure what type case to use..any suggestions?

There isn't support for this and never will be. You should look at a model like Precision T3500 instead.

By the time you replace everything you need (case, power supply and mainboard) you may as well replace the system - you can easily find newer, i5/7 based Optiplexes refurbished for less than it'll cost you to replace parts and rebuild your current one.
