xps 8700 requiring 2 power presses to completely boot
I have a dell 8700
i7 4790 16gb. I'm using a 660 Ti, but this issue happened with integrated gpu also.
After a regular shut down, the computer sometimes needs to be powered up twice to stay powered. The first power will start..but after 10-15 seconds, it will power off without fully booting. The second power up always works.

When was last time you replaced the motherboard battery?

This is a brand new dell xps 8700.

If you're in the US and purchased directly from Dell, contact Dell Tech Support ASAP. Have your Service Tag handy.
If you purchased from a 3rd party retailer (big box store or warehouse club), I believe you have to contact them for warranty assistance.
