xps 8920: Delivered with types of ssd’s
Does anyone now what types of ssd’s the version xps8920 has been delivered with? -m2 sata on motherboard -m2 pcie on motherboard -m2 pcie mounted on expansion card and then mounted on pcie express bus. Cant find or get any answers anywhere...?!

Its an M2 in an M2 slot connected to the PCIe bus. If you wish to use it as a boot drive, the general rule of thumb is to backup everything you want to keep, disconnect your HDD and install a fresh copy of Windows onto the SSD. Once everything is installed, then connect your HDD.

Now Ive managed, after loads of work, to install a Samsung 960 Evo as a bootdrive for the system.
And its running over nvme and placed directly on the pcie x4 buscard place. Using Samsung Magician shows readspeeds of around 2,7GB/s.... The computer all over now feels blistering fast...
