4700c Video Card

I've already searched the forums for 4700c video cards, but I'd just like to be sure about something specific to a new video card I ordered (and just received):

The GeForce FX 5200 card does not fit into the Dell Dimension 4700c. The instruction manual for the card says explicitly that "the [video card slots] may be black ISA slots to which you should not insert your card". The 4700c has such slots, and, from what I see, no other. When I noticed this, holding the card in my hand, I felt like an idiot -- every time I had looked at my system specs, it had said that I had a chipset, never a video card. My question is, how could I install a video card onto my computer? The GeForce FX 5200, I've been told, is compatible with my specs, so this is somewhat disturbing to me. I was wondering if there were some sort of offboard expansion equipment, so that I wouldn't have to return my card and find another one.

Thank you in advance.

4700c is a small case requiring a half height or sometimes called low profile video card.  Not the full height card.  It also has to be a 16x pci-express version, and not the pci nor agp slot version.  That 5200 card you have is a pci slot card, not a pci-express. It won't fit.  Its also very old and slow, and you can do better....

Thank you, SR45 -- I'm in the process of looking into the 7300 GS card you mentioned.
