ACPI\AWY0001\2&DABA3FF&O

Please Help!

Message ACPI\AWY0001\2&DABA3FF&O in my Device Manager is driving my crazy!!    I have been trying to resolve this issue in my device manager for 1 week now to no avail.  A recent crash forced me to relace the HD in my XPS 410.  I reinstalled the OS which is XP Pro (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3.  I went to Dell and installed all the drivers I could find starting with the Chipset.  Everything seems to function fine but I can not resolve this one issue and it is driving me NUTS!!  When I click on the yellowicon and try to reinstall the driver, the hd says the driver does not exist.  So I tried to reinstall from the Dell supplied CDs and got the same result.  Can anyone help?  Am I missing something?  I am not very computer savy so I really need some guidance here. Thanks.

Re: ACPI\AWY0001\2&DABA3FF&O

If  you go into the BIOS, you probably see that 'Intel
Quick Resume Technology' is enabled under 'Power Management'.

Intel® Quick Resume Technology Driver (QRTD) has the following requirements:

Operating System:
Microsoft* Windows* XP Media Center Edition 2005 Update Rollup 2

BIOS Requirement:
Supports Intel QRTD ACPI device

Driver:
Intel® QRTD

Note: This driver is not compatible with ICH9DH/ICH9R chipsets.

Either disable it, else you'll need the Intel QRTD (quick resume technology)
driver.

Download it from the Dell support site or direct from Intel.
