BSOD with error codes 0x0000007A and 0x000000F4
Hi all,
Just got a brand-new Inspiron Zino HD about a month ago, and I've been having some issues with frequent blue screens.
The error codes were initially limited to 7A - for example:
0x0000007A
0xFFFFF6FC5003D310
0xFFFFFFFFC0000185
0x000000000FDC2880
0xFFFFF8A007A62000
Recently, they've switched to F4:
0x000000F4
0x0000000000000003
0xFFFFFA8002435060
0xFFFFFA8002435340
0xFFFFF80002D7C240
It happened the day I took it out of the box, so I've already done 2 full reformats and reinstalls of Windows 7 Home Premium.
It's got all-OEM hardware, including 1 DIMM of RAM.
It has the Athlon 3250e processor and the ATI 4330 card.
I believe that all of my drivers are updated.
It's passed all the diagnostic checks I've been running until last night, when it failed. I believe that it was a hard-drive related failure.
Wondering if anybody could help me narrow the problem down to software, HDD, motherboard, or whatever else it could be.
Thanks!

Hi jormungandrew,
In order to get an accurate test of the hard drive, you need to run the diagnostics from a removable drive, such as your Dell drivers disc or a flash drive. In downloads, you'll find a downloadable version of the diagnostics that can be run on a bootable flash drive.

Unfortunately, that didn't work. I pulled the drivers from Dell Downloads and ran all of the tests multiple times, booting from a disc I created using the diagnostic utility tool. Now, sadly, the machine doesn't even recognize the drive - in the BIOS menu, SATA-0 is completely empty.
Is there some way I can repair this without losing data? If not, I'll try to get the drive replaced - assuming it's the problem.
