Bios help.
I have a Dell - Dimension 3000. Every time i go to boot it it up i get a message saying Diskette drive 0 seek failure. Now ive read many posts saying that the problem is that its trying to boot a floppy drive. So i need to go into Bios and change the boot up device thing. But how do i get to bios and what do i change? I simply dont understand Bios. Thank you ~ Stormgav

Hi Stormgav,
You will need to change the first boot device to primary master hard drive on the system. Please boot into the BIOS (F2 during startup). Use the Up or Down Arrow to move to ‘Boot Sequence’ and press Enter button and use + or – key to change the boot sequence to the primary master hard drive.
Please let me know if this helps.

Neither.
Under SYSTEM
Diskette Drive
Identifies and defines the floppy drive attached to the
FLOPPY connector on the system board as
Off
USB
Internal

Hi Stormgav,
You can turn OFF the diskette drive on the system.
