Dell Inspiron AIO 24-7459 32GB SSD upgrade to larger capacity
Hello,
I bought one of these last year. I changed the standard config of 1TB storage with 32GB SSD cache to be two separate drives:
32GB SSD - Boot (C:)
1TB HDD - Other Volume (D:)
I mistakenly thought 32GB would be enough for the OS with all data and other apps residing on D:.
I now realise I need to upgrade the SSD somehow to battle the constant low space issue.
I understand it is an M.2 SATA drive?
I'm not afraid of rebuilding the machine .
I don't want to have to go back to using the 1TB as the boot drive
Can anyone help and advise if it is possible please?

It is an M.2 SATA drive, yes - but from looking at other posts, it's limited to a 42 mm long drive (most M.2. SSDs are 2280 -- 22 mm wide by 80 mm long); these won't fit.
There are reports that 512M and under drives will work - however, in 2242 format these cost more than 2280 drives, and they're probably limited to that capacity (2280s go up to 2T in capacity now)
Here's the type of drive you need (for example only).
