E520 processor upgrade
I have a e 520 with a a dual core E6400 and want to upgrade to a better processor but I can't find a quad core so what about another dual core like this one

I just updated my bios to 2.40 and have read around but no clear answer about another dual core like this one. It's a different processor name but everything else looks
like one I have now.

The Core2 Duo E7500 Wolfdale 2.93GHz 3MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W, would seem not to be compatible with the e520.

Thank you for the info but I can't find any of the dual cores available right now or the quad ones either. What about downgrading to a Pentium dual core like this one

It looks to have the same specs as my processor now but only a faster clock @ 2.8GHz instead of 2.13GHz like my current one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115004
some more input would be great.
