Graphic card for dimension 4500s
I looked through this forums on a card i could buy for my 4500s but the links are dead. i already wasted about 100 on ppl guessing what card would fit. i have a dimension 4500s i want a graphic card for it. ty in advance
i tried a SPEIAL VGA DV12V,ati radeon 128mb ddr, ATI Radeon 9250 256mb,3D NVIDIA CARD 128MB, and a ATI HD2400pro 256 DDR i was told that these would fit my pc but they do not fit my pci slot.
Do not guess either you have a 4500s or you had one i don't want to waste any more money on ppl guessing

Hi Meablu,
Two things. First, you need to tell us what yu're looking for in graphical performance. That's an old system so you're not going to be playing any newer games, as I'm sure you're already aware. Second, explain what you've already purchased and found not to work.
With respect to your other computer, please double check the model since there is no Dimension 3400 (with or without an s).

The 4500s has two PCI slots and a low profile chassis. This will fit and this will fit. And this.
I have one of the Sparkles working in my 2350 and the installation was absolutely painless.
Remember, the 4500s is low profile so you will need a low profile video card. Not all low profile cards come with low profile brackets, so beware.
