Hardware Upgrade for precision 210 A10bios

The release notes for the bios has some info. I think A14 is the latest bios.
There is no such thing as 933 cpus at 100mhz fsb. 100mhz FSB is the MAX for the 210/410 motherboard.
So if they work they will not run at rated speed.  I believe you need Bios A14 then the cpu jumper speed can be set to the lowest speed and the 933's will run at 700mhz.  I have used Dual 533's running at 400mhz just fine with Bios A14.

Max ram is 512 megs using 128 meg modules.

Max CPU is 1.0Ghz coppermine 100mhz fsb cpu.

Thanx for the info. I wasn't sure if 933's were made in 100fsb or not. I was just putting some specs up to see if anyone could help. I was wondering if you might have time to take a look at this link and see if you think this will work with this system ok:

Also, could you possibly post a link to the A14 bios upgrade?  Maybe I am looking in the wrong place but I am failing to find it. Do you think the USB harddrive will work on this system with a hi-speed pci card?

The multipliers are ratios of .5 or 1 with the 933's being 7.0 7 X 133 = 933 and 7 x 100 = 700
Any ending in X33 or X66 is a 133mhz cpu. The EB or B aka 600EB/800EB/1000EB also designates 133mhz fsb.
Not sure if they messed up on the Speed. I would check with Powerleap to make sure.


Looks like A10 is the latest. A14 is for the precision 410.
