Help with Windows/Dell

So when I turn my computer on, everythings fine, I put in my password but when it logs me on its just a white screen. Its not my moniter because when I press CTRL+ALT+DELETE the menu comes up. I clicked on task manager and there's only like 7 process' running when i'm sure usually there should be more process' happening then that.

What should I do to fix this problem and if its unfixable what are my options to get my computer back to normal?

My dell is a Dell Vostro 220s :)

since you can get to task manager if explorer is not one of the processes just click on new task then type in explorer.exe if this brings up the desktop  then try and use system restore.:emotion-2:
