LOUD VIBRATING HUMMING NOISE COMING FROM MY COMPUTER

HELP. My computer is making a loud vibrating humming noise. As far as I can tell everything functions fine: internet, games, etc. What is this noise? What shall I do? botzaris.

Sounds like a fan going out... How about some more system info on your machine bro...

HELP! I too am experiencing a loud humming noise with my computer!! I have had this once before, it has been looked at, cleaned out and the noise has come back.  Could this be a fan? And how do I know for sure??  I have a Dell Demension 4600...
