No sound after clean install
I have a Dimension Desktop 1100 XP pro- had a virus that corrupted my OS so a clean install was done. All is well except the integrated sound card does not show up in the device driver section. I have read numerous posts with similar situations, and I have done everything recommended went to Dell and reloaded all the drivers of the Dell site, including the chipset and the desktop utility. I still have no Soundmax entry in my options. Any ideas?

Bless you Osprey,
I remembered seeing that driver early on in researching, but when I checked the compatibility the Dimension 1100 was on the list. Later on I found out that the B110 is the same as the 1100, but by then I had forgotten about it and seeing it didn't mention soundmax anywhere I was reluctant to install it. Thanks again all is well.
