PCI Status Failure - Dell PCCheckup online

What does this PCI Status failure mean?  When you click on the "i" for information after running the test, there is no explanation. A Google search does not help locate this issue.  Is the motherboard failing?

 

I have a Dimension 8300.

Not the motherboard. PCI is one of your addon cards. It might be because the hardware (phone modem, tv tuner etc.) was not active when the test was run. Don't worry about it if you are not having any trouble. You can look at Hardware Device Manager to check for disabled or problem hardware.
