Restarting Computer Black Screen during a Windows Update
I did a Windows Update today. My Computer didn't restart properly, after the screen pops up saying Windows is shutting down. It quickly switches to a black screen. I tried moving my mouse to get the screen back to normal, and nothing happened. I was forced to turn off my power, I ran a virus scan and nothing showed up. I have a

Windows usually creates a restore point before installing any updates. I would go back to the system restore point before the install when everything was working correctly. Then manually run windows update (customize option versus the express option) so you can see what is being installed before you install it. Normal security updates should not affect anything.
