USB Premium 4 BTN Optical Mouse

Greetings,

I have an XPS 420 Desktop with a Premium Optical Mouse. The mouse pointer is acting erratic. The back-end of the pointer seems to work better than the point. I have disconnected it and then reconnected it, but that doesn't help. Does anyone have any idea about this?
