inspiron 530 - 2 beebs on startup nothing else
when booting machine only get 2 beeps. No monitor. Tried replacing video card and hard drive, not the issue it seems. Any help from anybody?

Two beeps is an error for memory issues. Remove and reseat your ram modules. IF still getting the beeps, try booting with just one module in slot #1. boot and listen for beeps. Repeat with other module. If neiter works suggest replace the ram. If only one is good, while you can just get one stick I would still recommend replacing both.

That worked. One of the chips wasnt seated all the way forsome reason and I missed it. Its amazing how the simple things can save you money.
