This happens when I try to open a word document, subsequently cannot open any word documents.
1. Have removed MS Office and re-installed MS Office.
2. Have installed Norton Anti Virus and Personal Firewall.
3. Have re-installed printer drivers for Dell All in one printer 922.
4. Contacted Dell support previously and was instructed to delete normal.dot, which I did.
5. Installed spyware software.

You need to do a Disk cleanup, defrag your Hard drive and run an erro check on your HD.
Also when running the Disk cleanup remove the old system restore files as they take up alot of space on your HD.

Make sure your system is set to show hidden files and folders, then do a search for normal.dot. Right-click and delete all occurrences that appear. When you restart Word it will generate a new normal template and should correct your problem.
