After the upgrade to windows 11 OS Build 22000.194 the XPS8930_1.1.18.exe doesn't execute the update anymore.
The BIOS update is only available for windows 10.
According to the list of tested Dell systems the XPS 8930 is found to be compatible.
Opgelost! Ga naar oplossing.
Problem solved by copying the BIOS file to an USB stick and using the F12 Update BIOS method.
