Calling all EMC Proven Professionals!

Hi to all the new folks!! Looking forward to hearing more from all of you!!

For those of you who are customers, did you see Candace's request - she's looking for customers who are willing do a video on their thoughts about what sorts of value you have seen (or your employer has seen) from you being a certified Proven Professional.

I know some of you have looked at it -- are you all really that shy? Go check out Candace's thread, all the details and her contact information is there...we want to see your beautiful faces!

In case you aren't getting as much response as you hoped to Candace's thread, I know I'm in the position of not being allowed to participate. We have some strict rule in place about anything that appears to be vendor promotion. I always have to be careful on here to make sure I don't cross the line even with other confirmed customers, let alone in something that could get posted on open public sites.

Is that London you are referring to in NC as well, or would that be the UK or Canada? I'm up in the Canadian "instance" and provide some support for our UK operations as well.

Well you never know what they might have down there in NC.

I'm in London, Ontario (and yes, we have the Thames river running through the city too) and Paris is only a little more than an hour's drive away. Sometimes folks aren't exactly the most original with their naming :-)

Anyway, welcome (again) and hopefully we will see you over in the Support Forums as well.

In India, Techie's are crazy about storage. People from other domain like Unix/Backup/Network like to get into Storage, especially into EMC Symmetrix. In my previous job, I have seen couple of my team members (who were specialist in other storage products) learned EMC stuffs from me & got EMC Foundation certified.

my name is Dieter Kuefner and I'm living in Germany. Working for an IT Service Provider as a Systems Architect. We're using Storage systems of different vendors. These are crazy days because we just got into that multi-vendor approach trying to implement a common Storage Management infrastructure.

I'm holding a Specialist certification as an EMCTA - Networked Storage, a basic SNIA certification as well as a Brocade BCFP. I really appreciate the ECN where I can find a lot of interesting discussions, hints, links to other ressources and so on. I hope you keep that thing going...

I'm Fernando from Spain and hold an EMC Clariion Specialist cert while preparing Clariion and Celerra expert level to keep the same level as other certs.

Currently working as an ASN partner, part of the velocity program and making the most of us to improve customer's information technologies all over Spain.

I'm currently a Clariion Associate but I'm gunning for my Implementation Specialist right now.

I work for a service provider (Unisys subby) in Adelaide South Australia so I work with many of the customers down here. I also look after our own little CX-300 and AX4-5 in my spare time

I'm heavily into BURA too particularly Symantec and CommVault until I can convince a client to buy into Avamar or Recoverpoint
