E20-390 VNX Solutions Specialist Exam for Implementation Engineers
hi,
I have old book of VNX Unified Storage implementation and I want to present the exam.(e20-390)
The question is:
Do EMC change the content of course?
- If yes, I can study from old book?

You can find a list of the recommended training materials in the E20-390 Exam Description on the Certification Exam and Practice Test page: EMC Proven Professional: Certification Exams and Practice Tests. I've also attached a copy of the exam description below.
Please keep in mind that using training that is not from EMC can put your certification at risk. EMC takes exam security very seriously. Section 7.2 of the EMC Proven Professional Policies and Guidelines details appropriate vs. inappropriate study materials. Hi rezeq,
I would caution you from just studying the old book. The book I have been using for review is from 2012 and after taking the e20-390 exam today it would seem that the test has been updated somewhat to reflect new features and include different questions. I am also currently looking for confirmation that the exam has been updated.

I've gone through all of the online & online-ILT training for the NEW E20-390 and still failed it twice. There are a ton of questions that I don't feel are covered in the training material and this is equipment I work on every day so it's nothing new.

Greg, when did you take your exam? I also looked into the pass4sure test prep, but it was almost entirely based off of the OLD (pre-january 10th) material.

I bought Pass4Sure in mid April and on their website I remember it saying that that it contained the latest updated VNX material. Everything we read on the internet is truthful, right? hahahaha....
Currently on their website, it states:
Last Updated May 05, 2014 Pass your tests with the always up-to-date E20-390 Exam Engine
I just took and passed the E20-390 exam yesterday - Monday May 12th.
I feel that Pass4Sure helped me pass the exam. It, combined with the streaming training and instructor led video training helped me achieve my goal of passing the exam so that I can move on toward shadowing VNX installations.

I would agree with Clayton, there are a ton of questions on the exam that are not adequately covered, if at all, in the training. I purchased the EMCIE-VNX Imp. Self-Paced Stream for Partners training package, which included 11 eLearning Streaming VNX related training modules and the VNX Unified Storage Implementation ILT Video all of which were geared toward passing this exam. There's a great deal of useful material in the training and it's student guides but it did not address everything,
I was encouraged by a co-worker to go to Pass4Sure.Com and purchase the E20-390 exam study materials/practice exam questions. This seemed to help a great deal in that many of the actual E20-390 exam questions are among the 333 practice questions bundled in the Pass4Sure materials. I can't say that Pass4Sure is 100% accurate though. I found a couple incorrect answers (verified directly against EMC training materials) and a couple of very poorly worded/incorrect questions, but overall it did help me to pass the E20-390 exam via memorization, albeit on the second try.
