EMCISA V2 - E10-001 - Exam Facts
Hi All,
I am planning to take the EMCISA V2 - E10-001 - Exam soon, can you tell some facts of the exam, as i can't seem to find any information or am i looking in the wrong place. If i am apologies.
- How many questions are there
- How long do we have to complete the exam
- How many answers are we supposed to get write to pass %.
- Also i see people talking about practice questions, is this "Information Storage and Management Version 2 Student Guide" Check your knowledge after module 15 in the VILT
- When do you know the results
- If you fail how quickly can you take the exam and do we need to give another passport exam certificate
Any advice will be greatly appreciated

If you check out this page: EMC Proven Professional: Certification Exams and Practice Tests you will find both the exam description and the link to the Practice Test for E10-001. Many people use the Practice Test to prepare, and if you run into a question that you are having trouble with, you can share the question and how you are attempting to answer it here: Student Discussions.
You can also search the Student Discussions forum for previously asked and answered questions related to the exam.
On the passing score, we do not give out that information. You can read more about why here: What’s the Passing Score?
You will need to get another exam voucher to retake the exam if you do not pass.

You need to get 65 % pass marks to clear the exam.
2. If you fail how quickly can you take the exam and do we need to give another passport exam certificate
You can register and take exam immediately and you need new exam coupon to register.
3. When do you know the results - I think straight after the exam, can you confirm
You will get the results after completion of the exam

The EMC Proven Professional Exam Security document details our retake policy. Essentially, you may retake the exam a second time at any time, though we do suggest you take some time to review the areas identified as less strong in your exam results. After the 2nd failed attempt, candidates must wait (study
) 14 days between each subsequent attempt.
There is a fee for every exam sitting; covered either by a credit card charge or by using a voucher.
After you sit for the exam, you do receive a score report before leaving the center. This is a provisional score, given before results are run through our exam security measures. This report will breakdown your success within each section, identifying areas you may wish to further focus on before your next attempt.

FYI. I passed first time.
I am revising for E20-532 - Storage Area Network (SAN) Specialist Exam for Storage Administrators now.. Much harder and indepth
