Hiking Vegas Area EMC World Weekend
I'm may have time to do a little hiking the weekend before or after EMC World this year. Anyone have any recommendations within an hour or two of Las Vegas?

I'm not familiar with hiking areas but here is a link to an event calendar for all of Las Vegas. Selecting a date will display a list of available activities broken out by interest (Arts, Sports, etc.).
Anyone planning after hour activities?

I remember hiking in an area called Red Rock Park -- You'll have to rent a car to get there. Should be beautiful in May -- pack a lunch or some snacks to enjoy a view without neon lights
