Important update: Content Management Foundations (EMCPA) certification exam

On September 2, 2011, the E20-120 Content Management Foundations Exam will be refreshed to more accurately represent the current state of the Documentum Platform and its functionality. The below topics represent the additions and changes that are included in the updated exam and supporting curriculum.

  • CenterStage search features
  • Queues
  • Configuration of workflow reports and dashboards
  • Business Activity Monitor (BAM)
  • TaskSpace
  • Process Reporting Services (PRS)
  • Integrating workflows with external systems
  • High-Volume Server (HVS)
  • Lightweight SysObjects (LWSO)

How will this impact me?

Associate-level EMC Proven Professional Content Management Foundations (EMCPA) credentials will not expire. As a certified EMC Proven Professional, you will continue to gain access to exclusive program benefits that are designed to keep you current on your technical specialty.

If you achieved your certification more than 36 months ago, although not required, we recommend updating your knowledge and certification. The accumulation of ‘incremental’ changes in technology and EMC products results in the value of your current certification gradually decreasing over time. You should revalidate your knowledge via the most current exams, updating your certification to be current with technology. For more detail, please refer to the EMC Proven Professional Policies and Guidelines.
