New Clariion Specialist exam E20-522

Have you tried the practice test on the EMC Education website? This will give you a better idea of the breakdown of questions. While obviously not identical to the actual exam, the structure and content are similar enough to give you a good feel for what to expect.

I am in the same boat as the first person. I am preparing for the 522 exam. And here is my problem, I have downloaded the exam blueprints fro the 522 exam. and I still have no clue what level of depth should I pursue. There is no book freely availably. So I downloaded a few Clariion white papers on each of the topics listed on the blue print. Pretty soon I had a manual of around 1500 pages, Now since I am not sure what the exact syllabus is I have no option but to learn from all these naterials. Can someone atleast list out the headings from the courseware so that we can restrict our preparations to the right material.,

You said you downloaded the exam "blueprint" do you mean the exam description document? This document includes the exam description with versions, recommended study materials and a link to the free E20-522 practice test. This combination of information should help you determine which areas you need to focus on in order to learn the material and pass the exam.

Have you taken the practice test? How did you do?

Also just to clarify, when you say you need the "exact syllabus" are you asking for the ILTs from the recommended study material list (see chart below)?

So does that mean that if some thing is not covered in the above mentioned training resources then we will not be tested on it?

The information posted above was a list of the recommended study materials.  The exam description will provide a better understanding of what is covered on an exam.

Your correct question should have been "Could you please tell me which all videos I can BUY, that would help me to complete  E20-522 exam ?"

Are you new to SAN and Clariion or do you have some prior hands-on experience? If you are new to Clariion then my personal view is that using only the VILTs will probably not help you pass the exam, you will need access to a Clariion box to practice. If you cant afford the VILTs then at the very least try to get your hands on the official Clariion courseware for 522 exam.

I passed the exam E20-522 three weeks ago, after I failed once.

These are the list of PDFs that I ended up reading (at least 3 times). I changed the origianl filename to match the tile of the file. Since I'm one of those poor engineers, I couldn't get the VILT from EMC...

Hello - we no longer send hard copy certificates for our credentials. Once a credential is earned the e-Certificate is issued (about 5 days from when the participant verifies their demographic information in CertTracker).

If this is your first Specialist credential, you will also receive an EMC Proven polo shirt. Shirts are shipped 4-5 weeks after the quarter in which it was earned.

By the way, can I order a certifcate print from EMC? I got an email with a PDF attachement for my certificate but I rather have my certificate on an EMC official print-out.
