Suitable Certification track for VMAX
Hi,
I have been working on Clariion and VNX arrays for a while and in a new assignment, will be responsible for handling VMAX 20K from next month. The customer isn't using any local/remote replication for this array and it may look for one if we suggest him.
I was looking for a comprehensive course that will cover the VMAX 20K fundamentals and management of the same.
Could anyone suggest me which track should I follow?
P.S: I have completed pre-req E10-001.

I ran your question by the VMAX curriculum manager, ericjolley and here is his recommendation:
"This student should take the Symmetrix Solutions IE track (E20-335). It includes all of the Fundamentals modules (VMAX, TimeFinder, SRDF, etc.) plus the Symmetrix Configuration Management course for array management and the Symmetrix Business Continuity Management course for Replication solutions. It covers VMAX 10k, 20k, and 40k arrays."

Are you saying which Storage you should choose to work or something else....?

I checked the May 2015 catalog but didn't found E20-335. Is this still a valid course or has been replaced with some newer one?
I can see E20-517 in the VMAX section. Also, could you please suggest a catalog containing costs of these courses.

My apologies--the Symmetrix IE track is available for Partners. If you are a Partner, you can find the listing in the Partner catalog here: http://education.emc.com/partnercatalog

I was able to see the partner's catalog and checked the course details.
I am confused between as who is a 'partner' and who's the 'customer'?
