VNX Specialist exam
Hi All,
I completed EMC ISM (Information Storage and Management-E20-001) at 04-Oct-2012.
currently working as storage administrator and managing VNX5100, VNX5300 and VNX5500.
Now, i would like to achieve speclialist level certification on VNX platforms.
What exam i need to write?

E10-001 is the Information and Storage Management v2 certification; it replaced E20-001. However, the certification for E20-001 is still valid and will serve as a pre-requisite for the E20-547 exam.
EMC Proven Professional Certifications do not expire.

If you're in a Storage Administrator role, then you should consider the Storage Administrator (EMCSA) Learning Path for moving forward with certification. You can find the outline of the VNX Specialist level courses here: https://education.emc.com/guest/certification/framework/sa/vnx.aspx.
Of course, you should always consult with your supervisor about the most appropriate training and certifications for you.

Hi Kate,
I am in storage administrator role.
I could see in supplied URL, the associate level exam is E10-001. But, i have completed E20-001 ISM. Do i need to appear E10-001 before i take E20-547 or i can appear E20-547 directly with my existing E20-001 associate level?
E20-547 exam and certification have any validation period?
What about exam cost? i am in India.

Hi Kate,
Read in some forums that E20-547 is going to be renewed with a new(er) certification exam by May 2014. Is this a correct statement?
Just wanted to double check before registering for the above.

The E20-547 was updated in January 2014. It will not be updated in May.
