DCIS Installation Error.
I continually get msi error 1603 on installation of DCIS.
I'm an admin on my client system (with console installation of SCCM). Tried on a fresh OS build for kicks with the same result.
Anyone have the same issue in the past and come across a solution? The msi log had no leads either.

FWIW, I found the issue.
SCCM 2012 SP1 CU2 with Dell DCIS 4.2 errors.
SCCM 2012 SP1 CU2 with Dell DCIS 3.1 installs without issue.
DCIS 4.2 must be for a newer SCCM build

I thought about that too, not being installed on the site server. But I have similar access in my test environment and working from an end node with SCCM Console installed, the same as my production environment.

For me it never worked correctly if it wasn't installed on the sccm server , can't remember if I was the installation or else though.
