Latitude 5480 - No touchpad in WinPE - MDT 2013 Offline Deployment
I'm deploying WIndows 7 Enterprise x64 to a Latitude 5480 with 6th gen processor. During the MDT wizard, at the beginning of the deployment, the touchpad doesn't function. I have to use the keyboard to TAB around and make selections. After the OS is deployed the touchpad works fine. I have the latest WinPE 10 boot image drivers. Anyone else have this problem?

I too am facing the same issues and no one from dell responds to the queries on the forums seems..Really unfortunate.

hello,
This could be due to the ADK kit you are using in the deployment server, Can you please try latest ADK1607 (boot image version:10.0.14393.0) in your deployment environment.

I believe you need to inject the Intel Serial IO Driver into your boot.wim
We had the same issue inside windows post deployment, where the trackpad didn't work, and installing the Intel Serial IO Driver fixed it.
