Update drivers with SCCM

Hi,

I'm a bit confused.

I use the Dell Driver Cabs in SCCM2012R2 for deployment in Tasksequences. This works perfect.

Now we use the new E7250 and 7350 and they have frequent driver updates. How to deploy these?

I also use SCUP with the Dell Client Catalogs.

I published and rolled out the Dell OpenManage Inventory Agent to a selcted group of laptops. After this I published and deployed a Wifi driver update but this is not working.

What am I missing?

I see the Wifi update in the SCCM logs but it is not implementing.  Can anyone help.

Thanks

Ps. Do I need to edit the installable and/or installed rules in SCUP to match the Laptop?

Ok. Found it.

In Scup on the Installable Rules for the Wifi driver I found the SystemTypeID set at 1585 or 1586. Our brand new E7250's have ID 1581. So I added this ID to the rules and republished. Now it's rolling fine. My machines are updated.

Yeah.

Ps. I use WMI explorer 2.0 to look into WMI on our Windows machines.

Solved it.

Changed the installable rule in SCUP to match the SystemTypeID of 1581. It was set to 1585 or 1586.

With WMI Explorer 2.0 i looked into WMI and found the ID.

After changing I republished and all machines were updated perfectly.
