Will we ever get a 64bit BIOS updater for x64 WIN PE?

Any news on a 64bit BIOS updater for use in a 64bit WINPE environment?  I saw some threads from 2011 that it was coming, but have seen nothing since.  Right now you can't update the BIOS from WINPE since WINPE doesn't include the WOW32 subsystem.  Yes, I know I can update from a full Windows install, but if Lenovo can do it, why can't Dell?
