SAN Copy Migration

Hello Everyone,

                       Can anybody tell how to use SANCopy tool for the following migrations

1) Clariion to NAS Migration

2) Hitachi to Clariion Migration

Clariion to Celerra ..or 3rd party NAS vendor ?

2) Can you provide Hitachi model number

It was an EMC requirement so i think It is Clariion to Clerrra. When coming to Hitachi I dont exactly know the model number.

1) If you are trying to copy data from Clariion to Celerra (file system) ..you will need to use host based tools like robocopy, emcopy, rsync.  There are different types of Celerra ..there are Celerra models that can provide file system based storage and block based storage. If you need to migrated from Clariion to Celerra (block based), you can use SanCopy.

2) you can look in E-Lab Navigator and determine which Hitachi models are supported with SanCopy.
