When do i get a lock and key symbol in documentum ?

Lock symbol is de one which you get when your page was edited and currently worked by some one.
Also if some edited the page and after finishing their updates there is a option called close & unlock...
but few of them wont see this option so they directly close the edit mode. In this case also you can view Lock symbol in ur page,.
