Drive firmware upgrade on PS6110

I've read over the documentation for upgrading the drive firmware and my only remaining question is what effect does this have on any existing host or guest iSCSI connections?

Is there any lose of connectivity to amy connections?

Does the array or it's controllers reboot?

Does the drive firmware process occur in the background and does the array continue to function normally?

Thanks!

To give you a answer. There is no controller modul or array reboot. The script updates one disk after another and and for a array with 12 disk it takes less than a minute execution time.

No maintanence period is needed just a time with low I/O. Applied the Drive_4 kit on a couple of arrays in the last 5 weeks without a problem.  None of the hosts got a iSCSI connection drop.
