Replication Scheduling
Hi,
I am trying to setup replication on 2 PS4000.
I have 4 volumes which are part of a volume collection.
Enabling replication fails when I try to create a replica of the collection. The main SAN is running really old firmware which I believe is the issue. I will upgrade this, but want a backup first.
The volumes replicate fine individually. My question is when setting up replication scheduling. Is it ok to schedule all 4 volume's to replicate at the same time or is it best practice to schedule them separate?

If the volumes are related to each other, i.e. SQL data, logs, etc then a collection is a great feature. If not, then depending on your WAN, staggering the tasks is generally better.
Getting up to current firmware is strongly recommended.
