SAN NAS Heads - Increase Disk space
Dear ..,
We have just installed the FS7610 NAS heads as an extension to our PS 6110 Equallogic cluster. Now maybe a stupid question, but im going to ask it anyway. Our NAS cluster only has 791 GB allocated. As we are creating containers that exceeds this 791Gb, we need more space.
Normally when you grow a LUN you go to modify setting, only for the NAS LUN's there is no option to grow.
How to proceed from here?

The "nas" volumes you can see in the group manager are special and protected. The FS carve out a "nas reserve" from a given EQL pool. So if you need more usable space you have to increase the "nas reserve" and than edit the containers.
Minimum size for the nas reservice is 512GB which ends in only 225 of usable space. If you choose 1TB you get 734GB.
