Arindam Paul is addicted to the business of technology. He has been with XtremIO since 2012. Before XtremIO, Arindam delved into SAN networking (Andiamo Systems - MDS), Core Routing (ASR 9000) and WAN Optimization (WAAS) at Cisco, and CDN (DSA) at Akamai. Insanity workouts help Arindam stay hungry. And technology humbles him to stay foolish.

Hi folks,

How do we ask questions on this forum? Do we just keep replying to previous threads or is there a more elegant way that I'm not seeing?

Re: Ask the Expert: What's new in XtremIO

Yes XtremIO has a grouping mechanism called “folders” to group volumes and take consistent snapshots across multiple volumes.  Future versions will support more traditional consistency group objects.
