MD300i: Can't ping Raid Controller Module 1
I have a separate thread related to trying to reset the battery for this same module but I think related to this is that I can't ping the RAID Controller Module 1. Battery was swapped out recently (not by me, I'm coming in after the fact to fix this issue).
I can ping Module 0. I'm remotely supporting so have no visibility to the server.
Pretty much new to this whole storage setup so any advice is appreciated.

Hello pnb627,
Normally replacing the battery on the card will not cause this issue. I know you said that you were not onsite with the unit but have you had someone check to ensure that the cable is plugged into the management pot on the controller? If so then have you tried to reboot the MD3000 to see if it will come back to being managed?
Let us know if after reseating the management cable doesn’t resolve the issue.

Turns out Raid controller was set to DHCP and it didn't like it. Once we configured static IP, all is well. Thanks for your assistance.
