MD3220i with Win 2008 R2 HyperV Failover Cluster Diskgroup question

We are building a 3 Node HyperV Failover cluster using an MD3220i as the SAN Storage. In my reading, you assign ownership to a controller at the disk group level. Is there a best practices recommendation as to the Quroum disk? My plan is to start with 2 disk groups for VMs, one for a dev environment, and one for a QA environment, this way I can have the SAN in an active/active configuration and spread out the IO load. I was thinking of creating a third disk group just for the Quorum so it is isolated from the VM storage. Any recommendations?

Thanks

Brian

Brain,

In the past I have setup a disk group just for the Quorum disk as you described. I usually carve our a small slice of a mirror set and use that for my quorum.
