Dell Networking N2000 series - ERROR: can't get kernel image! - Switch dell no inicia
Estimados al encender mi switch dell N2024 me encuentro con que todas las luces se encuentran encendidas sin tener nada conectado , me conecto por telnet y veo que tengo el siguiente error :

Por lo que veo tendria que cargar el firmware de nuevo , podrian ayudarme explicandome como seria el procedimiento ?Es posible cargar el firmware por usb?

Hola MoisesMotta,
Lo siento, pero el proceso descrito es para los N2000, N3000 y N4000.
El N1548 no dispone de esta opción al ser un modelo más antiguo. No hay forma de recuperar el N1548 mas que flasheando la memoria a nivel electrónico (en laboratorio).
Si este switch es crítico le recomendamos que, si le es posible, piense en renovarlo.

Les dejo la respuesta de dell que funciono a la perfeccion:
U-boot recovery process for N2000 N3000 N4000 Series switches
Download or configure a terminal emulator that supports the Y-Modem transfer protocol. ExtraPutty and Tera Term are readily available freeware, but the use of 3rd party software is solely the responsibility of the end user. Prior to installing 3rd party software, explicit permission must be obtained from the end user.
Connect to the switch via terminal emulator and change the baud rate to 115200:
u-boot> setenv baudrate 115200
Change the baud rate within the terminal emulator to 115200.
Set the switch to receive the firmware file:
u-boot> loady
Send the firmware file via the terminal emulator via YMODEM. When this is completed, the switch will need to be manually restarted.
u-boot> saveenv
u-boot> reset
When the Boot Menu loads, choose option 4 (Load New Operational Code).

Send the firmware file via the terminal emulator via YMODEM. At this step, X/Y/Z modem could be used, but for consistency YMODEM is selected in part c. When this is completed, the switch will need to be started manually by selecting option 1. At this point, allow the switch to complete the reload. The firmware should now be loaded into flash and normal switch configuration can occur. To verify the loaded switch version:

Como se muestra en la información previa, los pasos se deben ejecutar, mediante conexión vía consola serial. Puede descargar la imagen (archivo .stk) que vendrá adjunta dentro del archivo .zip, desde el siguiente enlace:

La versión 6.2.x.x es un poco más liviana que la 6.3.x.x, para que la transferencia mediante serial sea un poco más corta (alrededor de 30 minutos).

Tengo exactamente el mismo problema con el N1548. Alguna ayuda para este problema? trate de seguir los pasos que ya postearon aqui pero por ejemplo el comando Loady me dice comando desconocido...
