Introductory Storage Class

All,

Does EMC offer an introductory class that covers basic SAN concepts, SAN protocols and etc? I assume the Information Storage and Management v2 would be it? Thanks!

Thanks Ankit!  That link might not work for everyone; if it doesn't try this. (https://education.emc.com/guest/certification/framework/stf/stf.aspx)

You can also view the complete EMC Proven Professional certification framework there as well (see left rail bar).

I am waiting since 3 months to appear for ISMV2 as I thought EMC might give away the 50% off vouchers like the last EMC World.

Any news on that?

We offer various types of role-based learning paths in the EMC Proven Professional Program, and some of them are 'open,' meaning the course content isn't specific to EMC products. For example, in the Cloud Infrastructure and Services course, the principles and concepts could be applied to any vendor environment, although the real world examples given use EMC products.

The certification exams that align with the 'open' courses are still part of the EMC Proven Professional Program, so if you take and pass an 'open' exam, like Information and Storage Management v2 (E10-001), you will be certified as an EMC Proven Professional.

Hi Debi,

Thank-you for the information. What is the difference between the "open" certifications (Data Center Architect) and EMC Proven Professional? I could be confused on the certification paths as well
