Alienware 17 R3 Graphics Amplifier Driver Problem

So i have an alienware 17 R3 with a gtx 970 , and i have a graphics amplifier with a gtx 1070 thats have been working fine until now . the problem its that i can update de drivers of nvidia when i dont have the graphics amplifier card in use , the drivers when i plug the amplifier in the 1070 are older and i cant update them even that when i just use the computer without the graphics amplifier the appear updated
